Must Try Denver Food Trucks

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Denver is sunny 300 days out of the year, so it’s no surprise that food truck culture is a big thing in the Mile High City!

Food trucks are a great way for passionate and up-and-coming chefs to connect with customers where they are at.

Here is our food truck guide on the trucks that you must try!

Must Try Denver Food Trucks

#1 Tum Yumz

I LOVE Tum Yumz! This Southeast Asian food (primarily Cambodian, Lao, and Thai cuisine) truck is literally putting out delicious bangers.

I highly recommend pairing their Lao sausage with some spicy papaya salad, sticky rice, crispy egg rolls, and super crispy chicken wings! Everything was SUPER flavorful!

If you ever spot the Tum Yumz food truck in your area, DEFINITELY give them a try!

#2 Flavor of Tabasco

I only ordered the asada fries at Flavor of Tabasco, but OMG, they are so delicious! The fries are flour-coated and have an airy and crispy texture. The toppings are fresh and flavorful. It comes topped with nacho cheese instead of shredded cheese. I would order this dish again tenfold.

For some heat, ask for their creamy hot sauce. It complements the fries perfectly!

#3 Cachai Chilean Food

Cachai serves Chilean fast food! Highly recommend the Completo Dinamico (hot dog with mayo and guac), Churrasco Cachai, Lomito Dinamico, and their empanada machada and pino (traditional Chilean empanada.

They also have a variety of sauces that will just blow your mind! Ask for one of each sauce!

#4 The Rolling Stoves

Think Uncrustables meets every sandwich imaginable! That is what The Rolling Stoves does!

#5 Fritay Haitian Cuisine

Farah is the mastermind behind Fritay Haitian Cuisine!

Haitian cuisine is mostly crispy meat eaten with condiments such as a spicy mayo and spicy slaw known as Pikliz. We LOVE her juicy yet crispy goat and chicken platters. For more handheld options, try her Creole chicken sandwich.

#6 Big Apple Bodega

I finally got to try a chopped cheese sandwich at the Big Apple Bodega! A chopped cheese is similar to a Philly cheesesteak but done NY style with sliced veggies.

It was tast,y and I will now need to try more chopped cheeses for science!

They also serve a basic NY water dog!

#7 Urban Burma

Now a stall in the International Food Hall at Mango House, this Burmese restaurant is delivering flavor-packed dishes which include noodles, salads, curries, and much more.

I highly recommend the fermented tea salad, Nan Gyi Dok (pasta salad), and golden triangles (chickpea tofu). EVERYTHING we tried at Urban Burma was so good, and we barely scratched the surface.

@ilovebowljobs HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Mango House food court in Denver! 🥭🏠🤯 Mango House is a refugee community center that also happens to have an international food hall. 🤯 Every restaurant we tried was unique and felt like a hidden gem! 💎😮‍💨 We tried THREE restaurants!@Urban Burma 🇲🇲 @509 Cuisine 🇭🇹 @nepalispice🇳🇵 I can’t wait to go back! 😋😋😋 #mangohouse #foodhall #denverrestaurants #denverfoodscene #denverfoodie #denverfoodblogger #denverfood ♬ original sound – I Love Bowl Jobs 🍜
