Easy Tuna Salad Recipe

Reading Time: < 1 minute

WE LOVE TUNA SALAD! Here’s my go-to recipe that will take less than 20 minutes to make.

Table of Contents

Ingredients

  • 2 cans of canned tuna
  • 2 heaping spoons or 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
  • 2 diced celery stalks
  • 1/2 diced red onion
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic, minced (can also use garlic powder)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh-squeezed lemon juice to taste.
  • Optional chopped dill pickle (I use Grillo’s pickles from Costco)

Instructions

  1. Strain the canned tuna and diced pickle for 1-2 hours. The drier the better. Can be left in the fridge or on the counter to strain.
  2. Add tuna and pickle to a mixing bowl.
  3. Add the celery, red onion, and garlic.
  4. Add two heaping spoons of mayonnaise. Can add more to taste.
  5. Add lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste. Mix thoroughly and refrigerate before serving. It tastes AMAZING chilled.
